When Jon woke up the next morning, he immediately grabbed the stone. But before he wished anything, he noticed that it looked a little darker for some reason. He looked closer and saw that what he thought was a darker hue was actually a number of scuff marks, as if the stone had been beaten up and used for years. But, of course, that couldn't be. He had just gotten it less than a week ago and even then it looked almost unused.
He had a thought that maybe it wasn't even his stone, but there was a simple way of knowing for sure.
