The stone he put in its place looked nearly like Jon's stone, except it had small speckles of blue and green. It was the World Stone. It worked the same way as the normal stone, except that the wishes were granted to the entire world, no matter if the wish was specified to one person or to one location, etc. So, for example, if Jon wished to be a girl, then reality would change so that every person in the world would be a girl.
