"So let's get our hair cut and styled, and then we can get manicures and pedicures."
Karyn in Samantha, her mother's body, was really excited by this idea.
Jon as Karyn was not as excited, but curious what the experience would be like, so decided to go along with it.
They walked a little ways down to the Salon in the Mall that Karyn's mother usually went do, and made arrangements for the works.
It was a whirlwind of activity for Jon as he was led from station to station. Hair shampooed, then cut, styled, curled, dried and finally set.
Then they got to work on his hands and feet, and after what seemed like hours, which actually had been just about an hour, they both walked up to the register to pay.
Karyn had just had a minor trim to her hair, and had her nails redone to match what her mother had normally done.
Jon as Karyn had her hair cut a bit, and given a more personalized style to not just be like Sarah's anymore. She also had tips put on her nails, and a few coats of some type of clear polish. And her feet felt funny after all the work they did to them.
"Wow, so that is what girls have to go through to look this good? Jeez, I go to the barber once every other month, and don't really even have to tell the guy what to do now because he has been cutting my hair so long. Never realized, but should have since everything else does, but that this whole process takes so long, and is so much work."
"Yes dear, it is the price of beauty. So, now that we have done all of the shopping, and heavy lifting today, how about we go next to..."
