"I wish my hair was dyed a natural red," she said, hoping to reverse part of her earlier blundered wish. The stone glowed, but nothing happened. Karyn was confused, but then she thought that maybe the stone was preventing her wish because it conflicted with her first one.
But that wasn't the reason. Because the wish was granted. Just not to her.
As Jon was taking a shower, a strange tingling swarmed through his hair. He thought that it was just the shampoo he was using, so he didn't think anything of it.
Until he got out of the shower and looked in the bathroom mirror.
"What the hell? How did that happen?" he said, very confused. His hair wasn't dark brown anymore. He had become a redhead, just like Karyn used to be. There was only one way that this could have happened: the stone.
He rushed into his room, which was adjacent to the bathroom, and looked for the stone, expecting to see it missing. But it wasn't. It was still sitting on his dresser, which is where he left it before he went to get ready.
Now he was confused again.
