It looked almost exactly like Jon's stone, except that it was one of the Alternate Stones, one of two stones that connected two people. Whatever a person wished for with one stone would be granted to the person who was closest to the other stone, as if he or she had wished it. Both of the people would remember the previous reality, unless they wished not to.
Jon got one of the stones, but who got the other one?
