Sarah looked down at herself, as she walked back out into the hallway. She was wearing the same thing she had been wearing all day - white knee-high heeled boots, a black pleated miniskirt, and a white vinyl halter top, something to show off her eye-catching cleavage ... though, for some reason, she had a feeling that the top wasn't supposed to be vinyl. And she should be wearing heeled pumps rather than boots? She was so lost in thoughts about that, though, that she nearly collided with someone in the hallway.
"Hey, watch it," the girl snapped, but then softened. "Sarah, there you are. We missed you at lunch." It was Gena Gibson, the Goth girl. One of the only Goth girls at the school, as far as Sarah knew. But why was she talking to her? Sarah wasn't part of the Goth crowd ... right?
"Ugh, lunch is over now, isn't it? Those fucking assholes. If they hadn't kept me in there so long ..." Though, really, she shouldn't get too upset. After all, she had dodged getting detention. She should count herself lucky. Still, though, she was looking forward to having lunch with her friends. Like ... well, she was going to say the cheerleaders, but why the fuck would she be hanging out with those bitches? Nothing but a bunch of Barbie clones.
"Sorry, can't talk right now," Gena said. "I'm in a hurry."
Sarah was surprised. "You're that anxious to get back to class?"
"Fuck no. I was trying to follow Sabrina. She just got up and left without eating her lunch."
Sarah wasn't sure why, but she wanted to help this Gena girl find the other girl - Sabrina. It would probably get her in trouble with the school again, if she skipped class, but she felt that it was too important to pass up. "I'm coming with you."
Gena nodded, then both girls headed in the direction Gena said Sabrina had gone.

A moment later, the rest of the students from the lunch room headed to their sixth period class (out of eight, for the day). At the same time, Zelda was just starting her lunch period at the middle school, joining who she thought were her friends who were waiting for her.
It was quite a surprise for Mikey, since he recognized Zelda as one of his sister Zoe's best friends, though she looked a little different now - less Goth and younger.
Athena, on the other hand, continued to have muddled memories. She remembered Zelda as a friend of hers, both in high school and in middle school. She tried to not force her previous memories to come forward, though, fearing that she might lose them for good if she pushed against the magic too much. Having vague memories was better than having none at all.
