"Karyn? What's wrong?" Zendaya asked, sitting down at the table, with her tray of lunch.

"I don't know. I'm having a lot of memory problems, Zen," she said. "Zen" was a nickname that Karyn called her best friend. "You haven't been ... uh ... using the stone lately, have you?"

"Not since yesterday, when I showed it to you. You think your memory problems have something to do with that wish you made?"

"I don't know. I don't think so. But it's just that ... well ... why did I wish for long blond hair and big boobs? I mean, Sarah McMillan doesn't ..."

"Sarah? Karyn, I was there. You weren't jealous of Sarah. You were jealous of Nicole Sullivan. Besides, Sarah has short red hair. Which is almost the same as what you already had, except that Sarah's hair is dyed. It doesn't make sense that you'd make a wish out of jealousy of her."

Karyn thought back to the previous day and realized that what her friend said was right. How could she think that Sarah was the one that made her make that careless wish? It was Nicole, of course. Suddenly, her memories made a whole lot more sense.

"Hey, I wonder where Tim is," Zendaya said, realizing that he wasn't there. He usually ate with them at lunch time.

"Here comes Pete. Maybe he knows where Tim went," Karyn said.

Melvin Tyne ("Mel" to his friends) walked over to a table occupied by his fellow football players and some of the girls on the cheerleading squad. The hulking black boy sat down and began to eat, momentarily looking up to notice that someone was missing. "Yo, where's Sarah?"

"Didn't you hear?" asked Danny Foster, one of his friends. "Nicole cut her from the squad. She said she didn't fit the image that she was shooting for."

"Too bad. That girl could really move," Mel said. In and out of bed, he added in his head, with a smirk.

======

Bernard Meadows sat down at a table occupied by other nerds and geeks. As usual, the overweight boy had taken a double helping of everything. It cost more, but he was hungry. Looking down at the food, though, he had this strange feeling that it wasn't normal for him to eat this much. But that was silly, right? Eating was one of his favorite pastimes. That and playing video games and reading comics. It disappointed the heck out of his father, who hoped that his son would follow in his footsteps and become a football star. But Bernard wasn't really into sports and he didn't think he ever would. It looked like his father's hopes would have to be fulfilled by Bernard's younger brother Wesley.

"Hey, Bernard, have you seen Jay?" Kyla Leeson asked.

"No. Sorry," he answered, then began to stuff his face with food.

======

Leonard Drullers ("Lenny" to his friends) felt like he usually would have more to eat, but just the thought of having more than the salad he was going to have just made him sick. He had to watch his figure, after all. He swished over to one of the tables, walking in a way to exemplify his trim body, covered in the most fashionable of clothing. He had aspirations of becoming a model someday. Even though some people thought he was gay, he was merely metrosexual. Okay, maybe he was bisexual. But he liked girls way more than boys. Though that may soon change.

======

"Where is Simon, anyway?" Stephanie asked her colleague Melissa. "I heard he was in his office and then was suddenly gone. No one can find him."

Elizabeth Thompson, another colleague, also in the teacher's lounge said "Maybe he went to Chesapeake Middle School personally. You know, because a bunch of kids from over there have been seen here this morning. I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm sure that he can sort it all out."

Stephanie and Melissa nodded, neither realizing that Melissa was now much older, in her mid 30's actually. Unlike Stephanie, she wasn't a new teacher.

======

"Hey, how long do I have to stay here? It's lunch time and I'm hungry," Sarah asked the secretary.

"You can't leave until the principal comes back. How can I be more clear than that?"

Sarah rolled her eyes, then dropped back down in the chair she had been sitting in, still not realizing how her tan was continuing to fade.

Outside the principal's office, Zelda continued to wait. She was feeling more uncertain by the minute. She just really wanted to get back to her normal surroundings. That was, the classrooms and hallways of her own school - Chesapeake Middle School.

======

Gena Gibson looked over at another table, one where her adopted sister Zendaya sat. She glared at her, really resenting her. It was part of the reason for her rebellious lifestyle. Ever since getting adopted, it seemed that Zendaya was more favored by everyone else in her family than Gena was. She even got an inheritance from her late grandfather, and Gena? Nothing! Zendaya wasn't even related to Gena's grandfather, so how was it okay that she got an inheritance, but Gena didn't?

"Okay, we get it. You hate her," Sabrina Johnson said. The punk Goth girl was one of Gena's closest friends. Also sitting at the table was Trevor Blake. It was odd, though. For some reason, Gena felt like there should have been a larger Goth crowd. "Did you ever think that more people like her than you because she's better looking?"

"Hey, just because my breasts are only B-cups instead of her perfect D's isn't a reason to hate me," Gena snapped.

"I don't think anyone hates ..."

"Yeah? Sabrina?" Gena asked, wondering why her friend just suddenly trailed off. Then, the pink-haired tattooed girl stood up and walked away, leaving her food untouched. "Hey, where is she going?"

Trevor was confused. "Where is who going?"

On the phone with the police, Simon wasn't very helpful. After all, he didn't know where he was, so the police couldn't come to his location. And, frankly, his accusations sounded a bit strange. He suddenly finds himself in an unfamiliar bedroom, apparently crossdressed? Until he proved who he was, they actually thought that this was a prank call. So they told him to look around, to try and see where he was. And that was when he noticed some photos on the wall. Most of them had one girl who he definitely recognized.

Sabrina Johnson, that punk Goth girl who he had suspended more than once. She'd surely get expelled for this!
