"Karyn. I'm really sorry. I didn't think about your ... um ... breasts," Jon said.
She glared at him, then went back to getting out her first period textbooks.
"Come on, Karyn. Please don't be mad at me. Maybe there's some other way to fix them. I mean, if a magic stone exists in this world, maybe something else exists too. Maybe I could even get the real stone back, if the one I wished away wasn't the real one."
She glared at him again, making him shrink back away a little more. Usually Jon wasn't intimidated by her, but he was when she got angry. And she was nearly fuming right now.
She was about to turn back towards her locker, but her eyes shifted towards something else that made her look concerned.
"What is it?" Jon asked, looking where she was looking. He saw a man in his mid-thirties standing just down the hall from them. Oddly, he was dressed like a teenager. And even odder, he seemed to be staring directly at Jon and Karyn. "Who is that?" Jon asked.
