It was obviously way to heavy to move by herself, so Joan picked up the telephone and called Tom the builder.
Joan had known Tom a long while. He'd done work on her house numerous times over the years and was a very trustworthy craftsman. All Joan had to do was ask Tom to come on over and have a look at the problem, and he agreed to pop round right away.
"That is really, really strange," Tom tutted. "You have no idea how it got here either?"
"None at all Tom, goodness knows what my son did to bring that boulder home with him."
"Well, no matter," Tom nodded and adjusted his hard hat. "Where it came from isn't important. Where would you like me to move it?"
"It'd be great if you could just move it into the garden for now," Joan smiled. "Once it's out there, we can find a corner of the garden to put it in, or I could build a rockery around it or something."
"Righto," Tom gave the boulder an experimental push.
"Nope, not going to do this on my own," he said, "let me get a lever."
Joan sat on the heavy stone and watched her friend's tight butt go out to his truck. Tom was in exceptional shape for a man in his late thirties - tall, strong and buff. Aside from his talent and honesty, that five-star physique was another good reason Joan used his services every time.
