Suddenly, Zoe's breasts inflated from a size "C" to a size "D". Her breasts already appeared to be big, thanks to her corset, but now they looked even bigger.
"What's happening to me?" Zoe yelled out.
Karyn angrily snatched the stone away from Jon. "I'm sorry, Zoe. It was an accident."
"You mean that thing really is magic?" she replied.
"Yeah, but I think there's something wrong with it. It's not acting like it did yesterday."
"Can I see it?"
"Just as long as you don't use it," Karyn said.
"I won't. I wouldn't want to make things worse than they already are."
Karyn thought it would be okay, so she gave Zoe the stone.
Zoe looked at it closely. She pointed at part of the stone, showing it to Karyn. Athena also looked closer at it.
"Were these cracks here before?" Zoe asked. There were small cracks running along the surface of the stone. With an even closer examination, she saw tiny crystals embedded in the cracks.
"No, I don't think so." Could that be it? Karyn thought. Did the stone get damaged sometime overnight?
"Then, I'd say that's the problem."
"Okay. How do we fix it?"
"I don't know. Maybe wish it to happen?" Zoe suggested.
"I guess that's the only thing we can do," Karyn concluded. She held her hand out. "Give it to me."
But Zoe didn't. "I think I'm gonna hold onto this. I'm thinking of a few things I could do with it."
"But you promised that you wouldn't use it."
"I lied. I just wanted to get my hands on it."
"But it doesn't even work right."
"Maybe. But maybe I'll get lucky," Zoe said, not realizing that her wish would be granted to someone else that was nearby.
