"Hey, Jennifer. Hey, Sarah," Stephanie said. Sarah and Jennifer were her best friends.
"Hi, Steph," Sarah said. Her eyes narrowed on Zelda, who was walking by. "Check out the freak," she said to Stephanie.
"Yeah, I noticed her before. It's so disgusting that girls actually want to be like that."
"Good thing she's, like, the only one," Jennifer said.
"Totally," Stephanie said.
Stephanie looked quite a bit different now (although as far as she knew, she hadn't changed). She now wore a tight pink T-shirt, a short white pleated miniskirt, and pink high heels. She wore pink lipstick and pink nail polish (on her fingernails and toenails). Her black-dyed hair was gone, replaced with her natural light brown hair.
Jennifer, Sarah, and Stephanie walked into the school, passing Karyn, Zoe, Zelda, and Athena (and her other "new" geeky friends).
Karyn turned to Zoe and asked "What do you think I should wish for?", as she held the Donut Stone in her hand.
