Zoe wondered about all the things she could wish for. And by the time Jon had woken up and started taking his shower, she had decided what to wish for.
"I wish I was the most popular girl in school." The stone glowed, but nothing happened. She thought that she would become more attractive or something. But she still looked like her normal Goth girl self. Hmm. Maybe it's a mental thing, she thought. Maybe people would treat her like the most popular girl in school.
But the wish wasn't granted to her. Instead, it was granted to everyone within a 50-foot radius, which was Jon, her 10-year old brother Mikey, and her mom.
Jennifer got out of the shower and looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. How could she not be the most popular girl at the high school? With her long blonde hair and DD-sized breasts and killer figure, every guy in school would want to date her.
Sarah McMillan was the previous "popular" girl at the school, but was now only second to Jennifer, who was now her best friend, by the way.
Also, at that same moment, Michelle got out of bed. She admired herself in her bedroom mirror. She was the most popular girl at her elementary school. And how could she not be? She was so incredibly beautiful for her age.
And downstairs, their mom was eating breakfast, almost ready to leave for work. But then after the wish, she wasn't dressed for work anymore. Now she was dressed in a halter top and tight jeans. She was so happy that she was the most popular girl at her college. She had been going there for quite a few months now, trying to get another degree.
All of this happened, just because Zoe wanted to be the most popular girl at school.
