"Well, my girlfriend Karyn is normal, sort of," Jon said.
"Sort of? What do you mean?" Carol asked.
"Well, she's dressed the way a girl should be dressed, but for some reason, she thinks it's wrong."
"What's wrong with a girl dressing like a girl?" Carol asked. "Is she some kind of sissy?"
"Don't ask me," Jon said, shrugging, feeling the reassuring sensation of the bra beneath his blouse. It didn't even occur to him that the bra served no purpose, just like it didn't even occur to Carol that her breasts shouldn't have been bouncing around so freely underneath her own shirt. They both thought that it all made perfect sense.
"Come on. We have to get back to my house. My friends are still there. Maybe we can figure out what's happening and put a stop to it. And more than anything ..." she said, looking around. "I just want to get away from all this weirdness, you know?"
"Totally," Jon said, then went with Carol back to her house, making sure the stone was securely sitting in his purse.
