The disbelief on their faces was clear to just about anyone but Candi who was laughing and smiling. Emma broke out of the trance first to see Karyn about to explode. Her hair looked like it was about to catch fire but suddenly she took a deep breath and seemed to relax.
“Are you okay?” Emma asked her friend uncertain of what to believe from the slightly crazed look in her friend’s eye.
“Why wouldn’t I be fine?” the voice was calm but there was an unhealthy twitch to her right eye. “My sex bomb of a stepmother gets to spent the next two months with me. I get to spend all day every day with her.”
“You aren’t sounding fine.”
Karyn's hands snatched the purse from Emma and she started to race away with it. Emma raced after her to prevent an ill-advised wish from occurring. Most of the camp stood by and stared at the strange sight game of keep away they seemed to be observing. Except for Candi who wanted to be a part of the fun. She came bouncing after them.
“Are we playing tag?” Candi asked. “You know your dad and I play a game of strip tag. Oh, maybe I shouldn’t talk about that.”
“Ha, I got it,” Karyn tossed aside the back to hold the stone aloft with more than a slightly crazed look in her eye.
Emma stopped, the fear was clear in her eye as she attempted to calm her friend down, “Don’t do anything foolish. Let us talk together before we make any wishes. Just think about the trouble it has gotten us into so far when we have made a bad wish.”
“But I have a perfect wish,” a smile formed on her face. “I wish Candi wasn’t our camp counselor.”
With her words uttered she tossed the stone back to Emma satisfied. Karyn could deal with a busty bimbo as a stepmother but an entire summer of her would have been too much.
“Why wouldn’t you want me to be your camp counselor?” A hurt look formed on Candi’s face.
Her body started to shake as she transformed before their eyes. She shrank nearly six inches but her breasts more than made up for the difference in size. “I used to be larger but my parents made me get a breast reduction because of my back,” Candi took a couple of tentative hops before smiling. “I don’t have problems with my back. They feel wonderful. Your dad is going to love them.”
