There was no one in the kitchen when Jon came downstairs. After checking the time Jon reasoned this was because his mom had already left for work and Zoe and Mikey for school. He was running about 5-10 minutes later than usual and had to skip breakfast altogether in order to get to school on time. Thank goodness he'd had that delicious ham sandwich.
Jon found Karyn waiting at the school gates. She was wearing a large sweater in an attempt to disguise her larger breasts, but it wasn't working so she stood with her arms folded over her assets to hide them.
"Took your time, Jon," Karyn tutted. "If I'd waited for you at the usual spot, I would've been late becasue of you."
"Sorry Karyn," Jon replied. "I made a couple of wishes and got distracted."
"Oh no, Jon," Karyn groaned. "After what happened to me yesterday? What did you wish for?"
"Erm," Jon realised Karyn wasn't surprised by his appearance at all, "can't you tell?"
Jon flexed his superior muscles to give his friend a hint.
"Put them away Jon," Karyn dismissed him, "I've already been to the Gun Show, many many times. I'm not impressed."
"But this is what I wished for," Jon said, "just this morning. You can't have seen them before."
"To be a musclehead?" Karyn frowned. "Why?"
Jon decided not to answer that question. "The rock must've changed history, so people remember me as always being like this," he realised.
"That seems to be the case, if you're not just messing with me," Karyn shrugged. "I remember you always being a jock, it's strange to think of you as anything else..."
"I'm a jock? Am I on any sports team?"
"You're on them all Jon," Karyn informed him. "You're the best athlete in the school!"
"Oh," Jon said. "Cool!"
"Come on meathead," said Karyn as she pointed at the school building, "let's go inside."
