Jon saw the stone sitting on the desk, and picked it up. Tossing it in the air, he caught it again and then started carefully at it. Odd, he thought. Did it always look like this? He couldn't put his finger on just what seemed different, but something was just a little off.
After inspecting the thing very carefully, he shook his head and decided he must be imagining it, but still...
Jon then got dressed, had breakfast (some Coco something), said good-bye to his mom and went out the door. On his usual way to school Jon met up with Karyn, who was wearing baby blue sweater.
"Hey, Karyn"
"Hey, Jon," said Karyn. "Are you going to make some wishes?"
"I don't know. I think there is something wrong with this stone." He took the stone out of his pocket. "I just don't trust the thing-- I just looks odd."
He gave Karyn the stone. Karyn examined the stone for a good minuet then said, "It doesn't look any different to me."
"I don't know," said Jon, "It's just... I don't know... wrong somehow. I don't trust it."
Karyn was starting to get irritated "Listen Jon, I don't know about you but having these," she indicated her breasts, "Aren't exactly comfortable. My Bras are too small and I had hard time sleeping last night with the extra weight. I can deal with that. But, I'm sure as hell not keeping the Brittany Spears dye job. And I'm not going to keep it because you have a bad feeling!"
"Okay, Okay." said, Jon before she could go in to her rants. "Good point but well, I just don't trust the thing."
Karyn was calmer "If you don't trust it than let me have it for the day. I be careful with it; I learned my lesson."
"Alright," said Jon. "But just do small things. That way the damage will be minimal".
"What could go wrong?"
*Oh, Great!*Jon thought I have a feeling this will all end in tears.
When they arrived at school, they have spilt up since Jon and Karyn had driffernt classes in the morrning.
Karyn got to her class just before the bell rang.
She wondered how she would say her wish.
