After Jon got back to his room, he started thinking about the Animal Stone and what he could do with it. Yes, he had agreed with Karyn that it was far too dangerous to use. But what if he made a wish that made it safe to use? Or at least safer.
He grabbed the box that held the stone and removed the Animal Stone from it. Then, after thinking how best to handle this, he said "I wish ..."
