Jon walked among the rows of dresses, only barely giving each a glance before moving on. He knew very little about what he should pick. While Zoes wardrobe included plenty of dresses, none of them were anything other than black and not at all suited to a wedding.
Zoe had worn more colorful dresses when she was younger, before her goth phase, but those had been little girl dresses. The ones in this shop looked both extremely pretty and uncomfortable. The sheer variety of styles and colors threatened to overwhelm him.
Jon decided to just pick some at random and see if he liked them. He was already dressed like his sister so wearing a pretty dress wasn't that much further.
Maybe it would even be fun.
After rummaging through the masses of cloth and tulle, he settled on three that he thought would be fun to try on.
The first was a purple, floor-length gown with a neck halter.
The second was a burgundy strapless dress that ended well above his knees. He could already tell that it would fit skin-tight on him.
The third was a deep blue dress that reminded him of those quinceanera dresses with a skirt that would be supported by layers of petticoats to reach an enormous size.
Meanwhile, Karyn was busy checking herself out. The stone had done a great job with her disguise. She had even fooled herself with it until she removed the wig on her head to reveal her actual hair.
She now wore a beige pencil skirt and a white top. Nothing Karyn would normally wear but waas a perfect fit for Jons mom. While leaving the bathroom, she wondered what Jon had picked.
