Quickly, Jon looked for the stone. Realizing his skirt (skirt!) had no pockets, he checked his bag. Much to his relief, he found it ... but it wasn't normal. It wasn't just the trick of the light that made it look different, he could see that now. No, the entire stone was black like obsidian. And ... he peered closer and nearly dropped the stone when he thought he saw two dim red eyes staring back at him from within the glassy stone.
So this wasn't his wishing stone. But it was a wishing stone, or something close enough. After all, it changed him and reality. But not the way he wanted. He really wanted to get out of this place, but he wasn't sure he should use this stone. After all, something even worse might happen. But what could be worse than attending a Japanese school for girls and being dressed as one of those girls despite being his normal English-speaking Caucasian male self?
