Jon climbed out of bed yawning. He'd slept horribly that night. It had taken him ages to get to sleep, and even then he kept waking up, thinking about the stone. When that happened it almost took physical effort just to keep from leaping out of bed, tearing off the mattress, and yanking the stone from it's hiding place to make a wish.

But I don't have to wait any longer now. He thought, pulling on his clothes. Today was saturday, the start of the weekend. He had two glorious days to try out the stone without the distractions of school and homework (which, after all, could wait until sunday night).

He removed the stone from it's hiding place, and was on the verge of making a wish when he paused for a moment. Didn't this look different yesterday? He wondered. It had always been grey, but now it was so washed out it looked almost white.

Jon shrugged. "Probably nothing." He muttered to himself. He'd been so preoccupied yesterday with the death of his grandfather and recieving the wishing stone that he probably wouldn't have noticed if it was hot pink.

"Now...what was I going to wish for?" Jon had forgotten in his distraction. But that moment of forgetfulness made room for another memory. Karyn. He remembered. She'll be pissed if I try this without her.

He picked up his phone and dialed Karyn's number. "Hello?" Karyn's voice asked.

"Hi. it's Jon. I was just wondering if you wanted to-"

"Try out the rock?! Yeah. I'll be right over!" The line clicked as Karyn hung up the phone, not even giving Jon a chance to finish his sentence. You'd think after what happened yesterday she'd be more cautious. Jon thought.

He barely had time to finish a pop tart he'd heated up for breakfast when he heard a knock on the door. Karyn almost bowled him over as he opened it, her chest brushing against him as she hurried inside. Jon felt heat rising in his cheeks.

"So, where is it?" Karyn asked eagerly as they entered his room.

"Good to see you too, Karyn." Jon informed her, grinning.

"Yeah, yeah. Hand it over, Jon-boy." She responded, grinning as much as he was.

"Wait a minute. Remember what happened yesterday? We probably ought to think this through." He said, ignoring his attempt at a wish earlier that morning. Karyn's smile faded slightly.

"Yeah. You're right. I'm just lucky all my bras changed to match..." She trailed off, blushing. "Er..Jon-boy, my eyes are up here."

"Right. Sorry." Jon hurriedly apologized, blushing again.

"It's ok. But I got enough of being oggled on my way home yesterday. I didn't even really think they were that noticeable. I guess you're pretty sure there's no way to wish these away?" She asked, gesturing to her breasts with one hand while holding a lock of blonde hair in the other.

"Probably not. And even if we could, you could end up without hair or, you know, completely flat or something. The wish was really too specific."

Karyn nodded, sighing. Jon couldn't blame her for being dissappointed, he didn't mind the enhancements to her chest that much (though he'd never tell her that), but the hair really didn't suit her.

"So what should we wish for then?" Karyn asked.

"I don't know. We could always wish for fame and money or something like that, but the range is limited. What if the IRS noticed? And then we'd have to wish for something to take care of that. And the more wishes we make, the more likely something will go wrong."

"Yeah..."

"Can you think of anything? It only seems fair for you to make the first wish, I mean, after what happened yesterday and all." He pulled the stone out of his pocket. Karyn brightened at that.

"Alright. Let me think. How about..."
