"Your wish came true," Jon's mother said, still staring at the stone that had just glowed a moment earlier.
"Uh ... I think you're just imagining ..." Karyn started to say.
"No, you just made a wish and it came true. I saw it."
Thinking that she had to fix this situation, Karyn quickly said to Jon's mother "I wish you'd forget about the wishing stone." The stone glowed, but since it was the Weakened Stone, the entire wish was not granted. Only the first part.
Jon's mother looked around in a haze. "Where am I? Who am I?" she asked.
Jon snatched the stone out of Karyn's hand. "See what you did? You made my mom forget ... everything."
"I'm your mom?" Jon's mother asked.
"What are you talking about, Jon? I specifically wished that she'd only forget about the stone, not everything."
"That's what I've been trying to tell you. There's something wrong with the stone."
"Would one of you please tell me what's going on?" Jon's mother asked. "I ... I can't remember anything."
