"What do you mean female and what home ?" Jon asks.
"Oh" the seal says "Well for the second question, all the selkies who are more seal then human have built themselves a hidy hole where only use selkies can access. And if you follow me I will introduce you to them."
"And the other much more important question about me being female?" Jon asks.
"Yes I was hoping you would forget about that. Well some of the new selkies including you got a skin of the opposite sex."
He stops for a bit before continuing "If you could stay human, you would not have to worry about your human side becoming female. "
Jon interrupts "Why would I not stay human?"
"Your seal needs time in the ocean. If you do it daily she might only need 10 minutes which won't cause any changes."
"Well that is not too bad I guess".
"Miss a day however and she will want a minimum of half a hour for a few days. And that will cause more changes."
