(Feeling really random)

"How does turning me into an Asian girl make me irresistible to women?"

Before Jon could react further, the door opened, and a flustered woman in a smart suit strode in. "June, it's time for the autograph signing."

"Huh?" Jon gawked at her before noticing that she was no longer in her old room. Instead, she seemed to be in a small backroom somewhere that had been refurbished into a dressing room, complete with a tiny cluttered table and mirror. Where could she be?

Jon shook her head. "No, this is wrong. I'm not-"

The woman glanced worriedly over her shoulder before grabbing Jon's slender wrist, pulling the petite Asian easily behind her out the door. "You look fine, dear. Now get out there, quickly! Your fans are going crazy!"

To Jon's amazement, she emerged into what looked like the open area of a strip mall. Various tables had been set up, covered in elaborate table runners displaying something in Korean?

In shock, Jon allowed herself to be plopped down in a chair behind one of the tables while the woman wandered off to organize a line of people waiting to approach. Quickly, Jon took in the banners propped up on either side of the table, each showing different angles of a lovely Asian couple gazing into each other's eyes. Underneath, large Korean words were underscored by their English translation. My Dove, My Raven

Suddenly, a voice over the speakers announced, "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! You know her as Sun Hee Yoon from the hit love drama, My Dove, My Raven. Straight from Korea, we now present June Lin!"

The crowd of fans erupted in a collective shout. "JUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNE!!!!!!!!"

The ecstatic cry from the fans, mostly teenagers, made Jon wince. Someone leaned close to her ear and mumbled, "Smile and wave, Miss Lin. This is your adoring public."

Nervously, Jon did as ordered.

The crowd swooned. "Oh, she's so cute in person!"

"I want to hug her!"

"Did she look at me? I think she looked at me!"

Meanwhile, Jon's mind tried to make sense of all this. She was aware that Korean dramas had gotten rather popular in America over the past few years, but only a few of her schoolmates, all girls, had jumped on the bandwagon. Having watched an episode out of curiosity, she found the experience a bit too strange, like a beefed up soap opera with added language barrier. The overly dramatic acting, the long inner monologues, trying to read the small captions until her eyes hurt, she ended up more confused than anything else.

Personally, she considered the whole concept to be rather silly. Why should non-Koreans be so interested in Korean dramas? Then again, Japanese anime had found its own foothold in English-speaking cultures, so the concept was nothing new.

All that aside, Jon knew that her hometown had never really caught on to this craze. Until now, that is. Thanks to some twist in her most recent wish, she had started a new trend, and she was now at the very center of it all.

Jon, or June, had little time to come to grips with this epiphany before she found a pen being placed in her hand. "Get ready, dear," the woman from before whispered in her ear. "It's almost time for autographs."

The Asian actress blinked at the long line of eager girls squealing in excitement. A new problem now presented itself. What did her autograph look like?
