"I wish that being naked, and that being around naked people, wouldn't bother me at all," Karen began. Immediately, she felt much better about the whole nude beach situation.
"In fact, I wish that I kinda liked it," she finished.
"What about me?" Jon asked. "I know I'm the one who wished for the nude beach, but I still feel kinda odd being, uh, out here."
"Oh, but you're so cute when you shrivel!" Karyn teased from her new, completely unabashed point of view. "Oh, all right. I wish that Jon would never, ever wear clothes again, and that he'd be perfectly at ease about that."
"Karyn, keep going!" Jon urged.
"To late, you're stuck," Karyn chided him. "It doesn't bother you to be naked, does it?"
"No, of course not. But you should have put a time limit or something on that wish. Now it's permanent!"
"So what? You wanna start wearing clothes again?"
"No, I can't stand wearing clothes. You know that. Yech! But what happens after we leave the beach? How will I go to school? How will I hang around your house? Hell, how will I hang around my house? What about the cops?"
"Being naked doesn't bother you, does it?" Karyn asked.
"No, of course not; I'm always naked," Jon asserted. "I'm just afraid it'll bother other people."
"I'm sure we'll think of something," Karyn assured him. "Now, what shall we do about most of these fabulous-looking nude bathers being guys?"
