"I want to go inside," Jon told Karyn.
"What for? To get dressed?" Karyn asked.
"Oh yeah, right, as if I can wear clothes, thanks to you. It's just freaky being naked outside here, where everyone can see me. I'm sure I'll gross somebody out, or offend them, or get arrested or something."
"No you won't. Just remember The Phrase," Karyn reminded Jon.
"I still wouldn't feel right," Jon complained. Then, as the fates would have it, Joseph and his latest girlfriend Jennifer pulled up to the curb.
"Dude, where are your clothes?" Joseph naturally asked.
Karyn glared at Jon who then, with no little resignation, had to state," I've decided to spend the rest of my life naked."
"Oh, that's cool," Joseph responded.
"I like it," Jennifer admitted.
"We were just headed to the burger pit and thought you might like to come along," Joseph suggested. It seemed he no longer even noticed Jon's naked condition.
"Oh, that sounds like fun," Karyn responded. "C'mon, Jon, get in the car!"
"I don't think..." Jon began, but then Karyn interrupted him.
"I still have it, you know," Karyn stated with a touch of intimidation in her voice. Of course, only Jon knew she was talking about the stone, and only Jon knew she could easily wish him into doing anything she liked.
"Oh, all right," Jon agreed, then he slid into the car, or at least tried to. His butt kept sticking to the vinyl upholstery.
"Joseph, have you ever considered spending the rest of your life naked?" asked Jennifer as they all headed for the burger pit.
