"Subsection 2, where is that?" he asked.
"Right here, see," she replied pointing out some tiny print. Squinting Jon could barely see some print there. Karyn handed him a magnifying glass that he used to read the final terms. If he were to not pass the final, which would result in Karyn going to summer school and not having a summer job, then Jon would have to go to the classes and have to get a job to pay Karyn all of the money that she would have made as a lifeguard, or take the lifeguard job as well and find a way to make it all work.
"Ouch, guess I should have looked for that before, but I guess I already signed so, I guess I better be ready for the final," Jon replied not wanting to go back on his word.
As the days went on, the two continued to go to class like normal, and nothing really major changed. The only difference at all was that Karyn began to dress slightly differently, but nothing major that Jon noticed. She just seemed to dress a bit more femininely, skirts or dresses, heels and hose were more the norm for her as of late.
