In your testing, activity and existing size would need to be checked, as well as viability of the concept.
By this I mean, firstlt and most obviously, the larger stories were more popular, so we need to test stories for appeal (Large stories written by one person probably should be disqualified from submission because that means only hte author wanted to add to them).
Secondly, we need to check and see if any of the story or story concepts ties back to existing root stories. Any that tie specficially back to YAWYW, Altered Fates or Future of GAming should also be disqualified unless they can be re-written to exclude these elements. (Would we also move all children episodes into the new stand-alone story?
Thirdly,
Why does it only have to be one story? Why can't we pick mor then 1 as a trial see how they go, and fold the lousier ones back into YAWYW after a lack of activity?
I know on transform.to I was pushing for older stories to be merged back into YAWYW so we could have more new ones. But that shouldn't be the case anymore.
