Honestly I just ripped off Brand New Day from the BE addventure. Not sure it's that good of a template to use. Doesn't establish much.
Always liked Narayanne though. Shame it didn't get off the ground. I think maybe it's hard to write a meaningful conflict with something that's basically omnipotent.
