I watched the brunette cheerleader walk away, feeling confused to say the least. But I wasn't the only one.
Feeling confused, Sarah then said "I wish I knew what was going on." The stone in her hand glowed momentarily and she got her answer. A smile formed on her lips as she realized that the stone wasn't just a stone. It was magic! And it could grant unlimited wishes!
"Did that stone just glow?" I asked, turning back towards Sarah.
Sarah looked at me and wondered if she should say anything. Everyone else might think that we were best friends, but Sarah knew that we weren't.
