When Pete dissappeared, both Jon and Karyn gasped. At first they were really worried, but then Karyn said
"I bet he just telaported in the other room."
"Yeah, you're probably right" Jon said as he picked up the stone that had fallen on the ground. "Man, I'm hungry. I wish we had something to eat"
A bowl of popcorn appeared on the table. Karyn and Jon sat down and began eating and watched a bit of TV.
A bit later, Jon and Karyn heard the door shut as Tim and Vickie came out.
"Hey" Jon called, without looking up, "Where's Pete?"
"Pete?" asked Tim. "Who's Pete?"
Jon stared at him.
"Yeah Jon," Vickie said "Who is Pete? I thought it was just going to be the 4 of us in this little experiment of yours"
Jon and Karyn looked at each other, then back at Tim and Vickie.
"Wait.. you don't remeber Pete?" asked Karyn
"Nope" they both said.
