Finishing up his salad Jon asked Karyn what she would like to do now.
"How about a movie?" Karyn suggested.
Jon nodded "sounds like a good idea" he said and they got up and headed towards the theatre.
Once there they looked at the list of films being shown and Jon had an idea of what he wanted to watch. It was a film that was considered a chick flick in the old reality.
"Two for Fast and Furious please" Karyn said paying for the tickets without asking what Jon wanted to see. Jon was upset. Karyn had completely ignored him.
"Karyn!" He said crossly.
"What?" She asked with an innocent look on her face.
"I don't want to see that" he said.
"Oh, sorry" Karyn said. "But it's really cool and I want to see it. Tell you what. I'll buy you whatever snacks you want" She said as they walked towards the screens.
"You know I'm on a diet!" Jon replied. But after a few minutes he said "I'll have a diet coke though"
Karyn nodded and brought Jon his drink while also buying a large popcorn and large coke for herself.
