When Jon got home, he called Karyn.
"So, Karyn, you want to go out and do something?" Jon asked, smiling as he looked down at the stone in his hand. He was gonna have fun with this thing.
"Actually, I was thinking of going to the mall."
Jon was upset. He wanted to go use the stone with Karyn. But all she wanted to do was go shopping. That's so typical of girls, Jon thought.
"The mall?! You know, Karyn, I wish girls acted more like guys." Even before the stone glowed, he knew that he made a mistake. "Oops, I didn't mean to wish ..." The stone glowed.
"Karyn, are you still there?" Jon asked nervously.
"I'm still here Jon. You know what? Going to the mall is stupid, especially if I'm not gonna buy anything. Let's do something else. How about ..."
