As Karyn walked towards Jon's house, she couldn't wait to see how her friend had changed. Giving Jon those fashion magazines was an act of brilliance. She was sure that (given the wish that was still affecting him) he would take it all to heart. But what she was about to experience was not what she expected.
After ringing the doorbell, the door opened a moment later, revealing the "new" Jon. The dress he was wearing looked great, the make-up was perfect, but the look on Jon's face was ... a disinterested one?
"Oh, it's you," Jon said, dismissively. He sighed, then said "You know, Karyn. If we're going to continue hanging out with each other, I think we should do something about your look."
"My look?" Karyn asked.
"Yeah. I don't think I could hang out with someone who didn't have as much of an interest in fashion and make-up as I do. I mean, you look like a tomboy, for godsakes."
"Yeah, well that's my look. I like the way I am," Karyn said, feeling a little annoyed. Why was Jon acting like this all of a sudden? Did her wish do something unexpected to him? Little did she know, it was Zoe who made him like this, thanks to Karyn's wish. Now he only cared about three things: fashion, make-up, and impressing boys. With those kinds of interests, he just wasn't the same Jon that Karyn knew anymore.
