"Well, Jon," thought Karyn. "I wasn't going to make any personal wishes about you, but you asked for it!"
"I wish that Jon, since he is such a big fan of the Mario bros., always dresses like a girl."
Jon was on his way over to Karyn's house when the change took place. He was suddenly wearing a pink turtleneck sweater, and a white pleated skirt, with matching bra and panties under them. Although Jon didn't notice his change in clothes, he suddenly wondered why he had gotten so mad at Karyn. He tried to piece it all together, but the wishes conflicted with each other and confused him. He arrived at Karyn's, who he could tell was trying to keep from laughing.
"Oh, hello, Jon," snickered Karyn. "I really like your skirt, where did you get it?"
"At the mall, you were with me when I bought it, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, I guess I probably was." smiled Karyn. "So are you still mad about my little video game alteration?"
"No, at least I don't think so, why would I be mad? Mario's my hero, if he wants to wear girl's clothes, than why not?" Jon asked, still unsure of what exactly had been happening. "I need to use your bathroom, then we'll talk."
Karyn put her hand over her mouth to stop from laughing. She thought of another wish. "I wish that in the mario games, it's the princess that has to save mario instead of the other way around."
There was a flash, and Karyn couldn't wait for Jon to get back so she could see what changes there were. She didn't have to wait for Jon, because as she looked around the house she noticed changes, which was strange, she didn't think her surroundings would be affected. She was shocked to see the changes in the family pictures on the wall. In her parents' wedding portrait, her father was wearing the dress and her mother the tux. All of her school pictures, for which she always posed in dresses, now had her pictured in suits and ties. She looked down at herself and saw that she was currently wearing boy's clothes. The she saw that the family crest they had framed on the wall had her mother's maiden name instead of her father's name.
Karyn suddenly realized that in changing the game so the princess would have to save mario, she had somehow switched the roles of males and females!
