On the opposite side of town, Karyn was lying in her room pondering her situation.
'I'm such an idiot', she thought to herself as she played with her hair. 'How
the hell am I supposed to get back to normal?'
She had been asking herself that question for a few hours now, but she could still not come up with an answer. At that moment her mom came in.
'Karyn, are you feeling ok? You've been brooding in your room all day.' She turned to look at her mother. She was about to respond when something happened. It was like something came into her brain and changed things around, but disappeared before she could notice it. She was left looking blankly up at her mother, who was also looking back at her.
She looked down at herself. She was wearing a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. 'Why the hell am I wearing these?' She thought to herself. As she looked up, she saw her mother leaving her room before saying 'Karyn I'm making a quick trip to the mall. Feel free to come if you want.' Karyn decided to join her.
The mall was absolute pandemonium. People were rushing around trying to get clothes of the opposite gender. Once they were inside, Karyn immediately stripped, running to the nearest male clothing store, her mother close behind her. Once inside, she ran to pick up the closest pair of boxers. She took them, but her mother grabbed on to them as well. Having little choice, Karyn kicked her mother in the stomach and ran off to go get more clothes.
By the end of it all, Karyn was dressed in a Captain America t-shirt, with a pair of shorts, and she was wearing boxers underneath. Her mother on the opposite hand had dressed more smartly, going for a suit and tie combination. They rode back home in silence until her mother said. 'When we get home I'm going to watch the soccer game. I want you to go upstairs and think about what you did young man.' Something made Karyn feel very good about being called 'young man'.
'Sorry Dad' was all she said before she got out the car and ran up to her room.
