"I wish that the entire human race is female but still reproduces sexually. I wish that we all have appealing physical characteristics. I wish that we have developed so that space travel is not only possible, but extremely easy. I wish that every star system contains at least one planet close enough to ours to support recognizable, sentient life. I wish that I was the queen of the new human race. I wish that there is a physical characteristic of ours that aliens will grow by eating our food, and the bigger the characteristic is the more complacent they will be with our rule. I wish that my reign was inherited and there is a food only my family can eat that marks us as the rulers. I wish that with each generation there is a peaceful transfer of power when the old queen dies to her eldest daughter. I wish that the stone will become attached to my body so that it cannot be removed or touched by others without killing me, but causes me no harm where it is."
I sat back, stunned as the world around me dissolved in a bright white light. It probably wasn't the worst thing that could happen to me, but I wasn't particularly happy about it. Although being a queen of a galactic empire sounded cool.
