As Jon exited, he began to think about it, and he realized her analysis didn't make complete sense. I mean, yes, his wishes were influenced by what was directly around him, but it also seemed he could just THINK about something and it could be a trigger. THINKING was apparently considered a form of DOING. For instance, he could be thinking of a beautiful Japanese woman and say, "I wish I was a Japanese woman with little to no grasp of the English language."
Jon quickly put his hand over his mouth. He had said that aloud, hadn't he?
His body had completely changed now. What little sense of manliness he had was completely gone. He cursed in Japanese.
He quickly rushed back to Karyn's door and knocked furiously. He rang the bell multiple times. Karyn finally answered.
"I thought I told you to go home, Jon! I can only do more damage to you!" Karyn said.
Jon had no idea what Karyn was saying. He tried explaining, but the words that came out meant little to Karyn.
Then a bulb went off in her head. She knew Jon didn't speak English, but didn't they just have a conversation? How was that possible? She knew something was up, and she was starting to put more of it together.
