Karyn would never have guessed it, but she was actually enjoying herself. Being pampered, dressing up, getting the attention of every guy who saw her--she actually really enjoyed it. I could get used to this, she thought to herself as her new body walked along the sidewalk, toward some shops downtown.
When she was near Third St., she noticed her roommates a little ahead of her on the sidewalk, walking out of a sushi restaurant.
"Hey! Ashe, Sabrina!" she called. The two girls turned and smiled at her, waiting for her to catch up.
"Your nails look great," Ashe told Karyn when Karyn caught up with them. "Yeah, the look ... fun!" agreed Sabrina.
"Thanks," Karyn replied. "I just find it so relaxing, sitting there while they work on me. I think I nodded off a bit." Karyn paused for a moment. "So, where are you girls off to?"
"I think we're going to poke around some shops," Sabrina answered. "Want to join us?"
"Sure," Karyn replied. "I'll walk with you for a bit. But I won't stick around long. I know you're on a date, and I don't want to be a third wheel. But it'll be nice to hang out with you girls for a bit outside of the house."
"Well, we don't mind if you're a third wheel," Ashe said with an alluring smile. "You know we're always up to have you join us."
Karyn just smiled and blushed a little in response.
"Actually, before we get going, I need to use the restroom. Do you think they'll mind if I use the girl's room in the sushi restaurant?" Karyn asked.
"I doubt they'll even notice," Ashe replied.
"Great, I'll be right back." Karyn walked into the sushi restaurant and wound her way to the back where the restrooms were. She walked in, did her business, and began washing her hands when she noticed her reflection. Once again she saw that her reflection didn't match her movements.
"Jon?" she asked. The reflection nodded. "How did you get here?" Of course, Jon couldn't answer. Then Karyn remembered her trick with the lipstick earlier and pulled a tube out of her purse and set it on the counter. Her reflection picked it up and began writing furiously.
After reading what Jon had written (which required some focus, since it all showed up backward), Karyn said, "So, you can leave the mirror if someone touches it?"

"Well, who knows where you'll be by the end of the day if someone else touches this mirror. Fortunately, it seems like everything should go back to normal tomorrow, right?"
Jon nodded.
"Well, I can't stand in here talking to my reflection all day. The roommates are waiting outside. I guess I'll see you when we're back to normal tomorrow."
Karyn left and returned to her roommates outside while Jon was left bodiless in the mirror until someone else would walk in.
