Karen joined in with a slight giggle, "Yeah, Jon, that'd be weird. Now, let's get this back to your house as quickly as we can and get the stone. With that in play, I'm sure we can come up with a good solution."
I nodded, "Thanks for your help, Karen. I really appreciate it."
We had to stop twice on the way back to my house to use the hand vac, but we made it without incident - something I was grateful for. On the negative side, though, I could see that the tank was getting full, "If we're not careful, Karen, we're going to have a tank loaded with feminizing gas here before long."
"One thing at a time Jon. We can make that tank in to a Bag of Holding if we want to." she replied, "Why is Sarah McMillian's car parked outside your house?"
"Sarah's car?" I asked, peering at the vehicle. It definitly appeared to be Sarah's car, "I don't..shoot! Yes I do. Zoe's on the cheer squad now. They must be doing something cheer related."
"I know your sister's on the cheer squad. I just didn't know she and Sarah were that close. You do keep some good company, don't you Jon." Karen replied. I could hear some defensiveness in her voice, though I couldn't place why.
"I told you what happened to Zoe." I replied, "It's not her fault."
"I know Jon, this is just so confusing. I've got two sets of information - what you told me and what my memory tells me. My memory says your sister has always been on the cheer squad since she came to the high school and you tell me it's because of the gas. I don't remember anything about a goth Zoe." Karen replied.
I nodded, "It's part of the stone. I can remember this stuff because I made the wish but you can't since you weren't there to see the changes or hear the wish."
"I remember the stone Jon, it's what we came for. How are you holding up?"
I concentrated for a second, measuring myself, "I don't feel like I'm close to an eruption. Let's get up to my room and the stone," I replied.
Karen nodded, "All right. Then we'll come up with a better solution than a vacumn."
