Karen had always been a reliable friend. The fact that she hadn't hated him following his first accidental wish was proof of that. Not only that, but she was nearby and easy to reach. he began to run the short block distance to Karyn's house.
The lights were on at the Black household as Jon came to the door. He stopped, puffing lightly - perhaps he should have stuck with the track team! He was so busy sucking in air that he was caught off guard as his boobs errupted again. The pink gas flowed in to him as he tried to catch his breath. A long tingle passed through him. His hair, which before had merely been unkempt, was now long enough that he could see it. Not only that, but it had shifted in shade. Where before he had been a straight brunette, there was now a hint of red to the color. He grabbed at the locks of hair and got a second surprise - his nails were now painted an emerald green.
He took a further survey of himself, checking in his pants as well. Excepting the nails and the hair, he couldn't find any other major changes - and both of those could be easily reversed.
He knocked on the door and Karen's father answered, "Why hello Jon. Got some homework tonight with Karen?" he asked, a pleasant smile on his face. He didn't react in the slightest to Jon's altered appearance.
"Yeah, Mr. Black. She said to come about now."
"She's upstairs waiting," he nodded in the direction of the stars, "KAREN! Jon's here!" he called.
"Thanks Dad! Send him up!" she shouted back.
"Thanks for working with her, Jon." Karen's father intoned, "We know we can trust you two. Good luck. There's soda in the fridge if you get thirsty. I can put another chicken breast in the skillet later if you decide to stay for dinner. Just let me know." and with that, he moved off in the direction of the living room and his big screen TV.
Jon, meanwhile, headed up the stairs.
