Carter decided to try something a bit more daring for his next go.
"Hell," he thought, "If it doesn't work, I can just type them in again and get them to swap round."
He looked around for inspiration. Flicking through the channels on his TV, he came across an episode of Drag Race, a show he'd not seen before. Drag queens. They made him feel queasy. It wasn't right for a man to go round dressing up as a woman. It wasn't natural.
He took another drink of his beer and an idea flashed through his tipsy mind. Those women who had dumped him. Shelley, Rebecca, Nadine, Beverley. They didn't deserve him, they deserved to suffer for what they'd put him through.
"I'll teach those god damn bitches a lesson they'll never forget."
Into the first box, he typed "Woman". Into the next "Crossdresser"
He paused momentarily. Was he doing the right thing? He took another swig of his beer and his mind was made up.
There was a momentary blur while the world aligned itself, but everything seemed the same.
Carter flicked on the TV and cycled through the channels.
Baywatch was on. One of his favourites. He began to unbutton his trousers and flexed his fingers.
Pamela Anderson, his favourite, came on. But this wasn't the Pammy he knew. Her breasts looked like they'd been glued on to her chest, the colour not quite matching. Her legs were hairy, almost as hairy as his. Worst of all, there was a definite bulge in her crotch.
"What the..." the consequences of what Carter had done began to sink in.
Quickly, he rushed over to the computer and tried again. But this time, the screen went dark. After a few seconds, a Windows error message popped on the screen. "Sorry. Reverse swaps are not possible"
