They both sat in their first class waiting for teacher. It took only a short time until Jon's mind wandered. Karyn was happy to see his hair growing, getting curlier and black. His new afro hair had really exploded. You would think that girl was sitting in his place.
Karyn was shocked whose hair Jon got. It was their math teacher who would be shortly arriving. Karyn used the clasroom noise to whisper few more wishes.

"I wish to know what he was imagining about our teacher."
She almost laughed about his fantasy.

"I wish to know if he has a crush on her."
She learned that he really had. Karyn had immediately an idea how to get them closer. They were about to have a math test.

"I wish that Jon always switch his knowledge and answer with a classmate who would fill the worst answer. I wish that our teacher will offer Jon tutoring because of his bad test result."

Karyn was learning whole evening a day before. She was really stressed out about it and she envied boys who didn't have to learn a lot.
The teacher was delayed because of some issue with printing tests. Karyn had a last minute to make some wishes.

"I wish that all girls in this class were talented for learning math."

"I wish that all boys in this class considered Math as the worst and hardest subject they have."

"I wish that Math was the most boring subject for all boys in this class."

The noise was slowly getting down as boys stopped chatting. Suddenly they felt that they should have been learning for the test because Math was so hard. It was too late. The teacher had arrived and everyone got a test.

Karyn was struggling first but as she went through the test, she was learning. Suddenly, it made sense. She had to return to first examples to correct her mistakes. Slowly, she was becoming confident.

Jon was nervous as he would have been taking final exams. He was slow in solving but it was not his own thoughts. At beginning, he was filling solutions from girls but girls were learning. Soon, he was writing solutions from boys. There was a really low chance that he would have something right.

All the boys went through the hardship. They should have been dominating over girls. They were expected to be good in this subject. They were so stressed out to meet their social expectations that they used the calculator even for basic arithmetics. As girls were done, they used every last second to finish one more example.

There was still 15 minutes left after the test. Boys were relieved that the test had finished and their stress was replaced with boredom. They had trouble to focus and they had to ask the teacher to repeat her questions. Slowly, the teacher focused more on girls who were enthustiastic to learn something new.

Karyn was having really good time, for the first time in her Math class.
