Hours later, he felt a bulge in the back of his throat. Sadie went to the door and scratched again. Zoe came and opened it. "Okay, girl, but hurry up, I wanna go to bed."
Sadie trotted out to the yard where she peed first, then squatted, pointing Jon's face downwards. Jon felt his lips relax as a massive turd worked its way out of his mouth, followed by a second one. Sadie trotted back inside, licked herself clean, and went to sleep.
