The stone didn't have to wait too long to be picked up, though. Less than an hour later, Molly Stevens (now almost 13 years old) was walking home from a friend's house when something caught her eye. It was something crimson that was reflecting the sunlight. She walked over towards it and picked it up.
It was just a stone, nothing special. Despite that, however, she took it with her anyway. Maybe she could put it in her rock collection.
