While this was happening, Zoe had her hands full. In the short time she'd been Candace Roberts, she'd cleaned up dinner, put the five youngest to bed, tidied up the living room, talked on the phone with her (Candace's) sister, making a playdate for the kids the next day, got the next day's home-school lessons ready, and endured eight kisses and one butt squeeze from he (Candace's) husband, William. He was very affectionate.
She felt uncomfortable in the flower-print dress that Candace had laid out for her, but she didn't show it. She smoothly glided around, the picture of feminine grace, and told the remaining kids that it was bedtime. These ones were old enough to be left to themselves in heading to bed. If there was any difficulty, the oldest would help out.
There was no TV in the house, so the standard evening relaxation was sitting with William on the couch and reading. Candace was reading through Anne of Green Gables, so Zoe grabbed it from it's place under the coffee table, eased herself down onto the couch next to her husband-for-the-week, and hoped she could catch onto the plot from the place Candace had left the bookmark.
"Tough day, sweetie?" William's voice showed empathy as he put his arm around her shoulders and puller her into him. He was wearing a cologne, Old Spice, she thought, which he hadn't been wearing earlier. She breathed it in and sighed, anticipating the reaction that Candace would have given.
"Not anymore," she nuzzled into him, putting down her book so she could gently rubbing his chest. She recognized the beginning of a mating ritual when she saw it, but she didn't want to get ahead of herself. She'd let William take the lead, since he saw himself as the head of the household.
He didn't disappoint.
Having waited just enough time for the last of the kids to be asleep, he reached over, cupped her head in one calloused hand, and brought her young lips to his. She'd never in all of her game playing been married to someone so physically affectionate. Sure, some guys tried to get a little extra action when she was in character, but she could tell the difference between what was real and what wasn't.
Soon his tongue was in her mouth, and which she mimicked immediately. She closed her eyes, wanting to give the impression of being swept away by him. In a way though, she was. This big married man, gently imposing his affection on her was beginning to turn her on. Sure, he was only acting as if she was his wife, but some part of her couldn't help but receiving it for herself. A heat was building between her legs that she couldn't deny, but she forced herself to control her urges and let him lead the way.
He broke the kiss, stood up and picked her up in his arms, carrying her down the hall quietly toward their bedroom. No words passed between them, but she did nibble on his neck just a bit, hoping that she wasn't taking too much of a liberty. Soon the door was closed and locked behind them and he laid her on the bed with one more kiss on the lips. Walking to the light switch, he quickly disrobed, letting his clothes lay where they fell. Zoe took the hint and took off her dress, neatly folding it and putting it on dresser beside the bed, followed by her tan coloured underwear and bra.
She had just climbed back into bed, when the lights went out and her husband came to her.
