"How about your place, then?" I said.
"My place, it is," she said, with a smile.
We left the shop and walked down the street about half a block. On the way, we passed an establishment called the Giant's Blood. I stopped.
"David? What is it?" Suzie asked me.
"Can we go in there for a minute?"
"Why?"
"There's someone inside I want you to meet," I said. Shazan said that he'd be there. "We'll just be in and out."
Suzie shrugged. "Okay, fine."
We walked inside.
