"It was almost six months of physical therapy," she answered. "But it was worth it. I can use my new arms better than I could use my old ones." She opened up the file and said, "Now, I'm sure that you're wondering how you're going to be transformed. Its different for everyone. Now let's see, you are going to be changed into a...Cartoon character ."
"A Cartoon character?" Jon paled. This, from the sound of it, was not what he'd expected.
"Yes. The advances we've made here in the last to years has aloud us to many things we never thought possible! You will be changed in to a real life version of a cartoon character, most likely a female one. You will keep you're own mind but you'll also be made to act like the character and... Oh!"
"What?" Jon asked worried.
"Looks like you've got the embarrassment box checked! That'll add to the fun!"
Jon just stared at her, wondering what the stone could possibly have been thinking when it came up with this. "It's definitely bizarre," he mumbled.
"What was that, dear?" the nurse asked sweetly. When he shook his head, she continued. "Well don't worry, the procedure is very safe at this point and I'm sure you'll end up liking the change."
"So how much like a cartoon will I be?" Jon asked
"Well," she laughed, "If it all goes correctly, you'll really will be like a real life cartoon. You wont be indestructible though, like in 'who framed roger rabbit', but you will be much more hardy that normal people. "
Jon nodded slowly, close to tears. "What character will I b..." He began, but was interrupted by a man coming in and giving Jon a shot in his arm without preamble. His words came out slurred as he tried again, and he was distantly aware that he was falling over before everything went black.
