Jordan looked over to his right, his hand still on the door handle. "You ready for this?" he asked.
"Y-yeah" Jon replied. "Lets get this over with."
With that, Jordan slowly opened the car door. Both popped their heads out first to take a better look around. Like they expected, no one noticed them... yet. Hesitantly, Jon took the first step out, with Jordan following his lead. Lidia called from the driver seat, "Have a great day you too!" Her smiling face, however, did nothing to calm the brothers' nerves.
Jordan shut the door, and the two treaded forward to the school doors. It did not take long for the few students who were there to start whispering, gawking, and pointing at Jon and Jordan. Adrenaline started pumping through their veins, their heart rate rapidly increased, and their palms and feet began to sweat.
As their nerves rose, their coordination plummeted. Their steps no longer synchronized, and the two found themselves tripping on each other's foot. Just a short distance from the doors, the brothers took huge tumble and landed face first onto the hard ground. The few students that were there instantly burst into laughter.
Jon and Jordan struggled in vain to get back to their feet. Coordination between the two was all off, but after those few long and excrusiating seconds they were able to stand back up and slip inside. No students had come inside yet, but muffled laughter could still be heard from outside.
