Lisa approached one of the cars parked alongside the road and looked at her reflection in one of the windows. She still couldn't believe it, but she did actually look like someone else. She was still a girl and the same age, but she didn't look like herself. Instead, she looked like one of those dweeby nerd girls. Her curly blond hair was now frizzy and unkempt, her skin was pale, and she had quite a bit of acne. No wonder her mom freaked out so much. She would too in the same situation. In fact, she was right now. Only this was worse, because she was the dweeby nerd girl (at least, from the neck up).
How could this happen? And why did it have to happen to her? She was one of the most popular girls in school. But looking like this, those days were certainly over.
Unless she prettied herself up. But even then she'd look like some other girl. How was she going to explain to everyone that she was really Lisa Turner and not someone else?
