Lin looked at hir husbenne, unsure of how to answer. This game was unlike any other that shi had played. For one thing, the cards actually affected you. Shi had just seen that happen in front of hir own eyes—sure, it was a minor change, but still…
Romelia was gently rubbing Jonatha’s back, trying to reassure hym. Lin sighed; they had to keep the game moving, that much shi knew.
“Honey,” shi addressed hir husbenne. “It’s your turn.”
“Oh, alright then.” Romelia turned hys attention back to the board, smoothing out hys dress as hei did so, making sure not to leave any creases. Hei picked up the die and threw them across the board.
“3!” Romelia called out. Hei selected a game piece and moved it three places and picked up a card and cleared hys throat.
“You’re always looking to your wife for reassurance, but then again, I suppose that’s how bois are.” Romelia paused as hei looked up at hys family, nervous to continue. “Maybe it’s about time that bois took charge for once.”
As soon as Romelia finished reading, the game glowed and encompassed everyone for a moment.
Romelia blinked as soon as the glow died down and looked down at hymself. Hei screamed.
Instead of the pretty floral patterned dress that hei had put on this morning, hei was wearing a dark blue dress shirt covered by a black blazer and black pants. In shock, hei looked immediately over to Lin for support and got the surprise of hys life.
Lin was wearing hys dress! Of course, shi looked ridiculous in it, but for some reason, it seemed as if it was made to fit hir.
